Adon, Bullpen Shut out WooSox Friday

AAA East Rochester Red Wings Joan Adon struck out seven batters over 4.0 innings in his Triple-A debut and four relievers combined to allow just one hit and two walks as Rochester beat Worcester 3-0 Friday night at Polar Park. Adon allowed two hits and three walks but did have to work out of trouble. The WooSox had second and third with two outs in the 1st but the 23-year-old got Ronaldo Hernandez to strike out.
