Ta'amu Leads DC's Epic 37-33 Comeback Win over Renegades

UFL D.C. Defenders April 27, 2025 - ARLINGTON, TX - Trailing 27-12 with 1:19 left in the first half, the DC Defenders (4-1, 2-1 XFL) flipped a switch and outscored the Arlington Renegades (3-2, 2-1 XFL) 25-6 for a 37-33 road win and regained sole possession of first place in the XFL conference. Quarterback Jordan Ta'amu was the driving force for DC's offense and recorded a season-high 308 passing yards and matched a career-high four total touchdowns in the win (three passing, one rushing). April 22, 2025 - D.C Defenders quarterback Jordan Ta'amu, Arlington Renegades cornerback Ajene Harris, and Birmingham Stallions safety JoJo Tillery were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week four of the UFL season. Ta'amu earned offensive player honors for the second straight week by completing 19-of-31 passes for 299 yards with one touchdown and adding 10 carries for 74 yards and another score in the Defenders' 24-18 loss to the San Antoni... Defenders Fall Short to Brahmas in 24-18 Loss

UFL D.C. Defenders April 21, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Despite 374 yards of total offense from quarterback Jordan Ta'amu, the DC Defenders (3-1, 1-1 XFL) were unable to gain traction late and lost 24-18 to the San Antonio Brahmas (1-3, 1-2 XFL) at Audi Field Sunday. Trailing 24-18 with 4:18 left in the game, DC had one last drive to even the score and possibly take a late lead.
