Tucson Roadrunners' Sam Lipkin in action

Forward Sam Lipkin makes his professional debut for the Roadrunners in Saturday night's contest and battles for a puck in front of the San Diego net. Lipkin, who won a NCAA National Championship with Quinnipiac University in 2023, record an assist early in the third period of the contest to give him his first professional point. Lipkin was a 7th round pick of the Arizona Coyotes in the 2021 draft and joins the Roadrunners amid their playoff push. Lipkin, a Pennsylvania native, is no stranger to assists as he recorded assists on both the game-tying and game-winning goals in that NCAA National Championship game.

Roadrunners Win 38th; Beat San Diego 4-1
SAN DIEGO, CA - It was a national holiday in San Diego, Sam Lipkin's professional debut, as the Tucson Roadrunners defeat the San Diego Gulls 4-1 to improve to 38-23-3-2 on the year from the Pechanga Arena.
