Houston Roughnecks Announce Initial Roster Ahead of 2024 UFL Season Following Player Dispersal Process

January 8, 2024 - HOUSTON, TX - The United Football League, the premier spring football league, has announced the results of its initial player dispersal process. Each remaining XFL Conference and USFL Conference team protected 42 foundational players from its 2023 roster. Each team in each of the XFL and USFL Conferences then selected up to 20 players from the rosters of teams from their previous league that will not be moving forward in 2024. Meadors Signs with Pittsburgh

December 27, 2023 - ARLINGTON, TEXAS - Former St. Louis Battlehawks defensive back Nate Meadors has been signed to the practice squad of the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. In nine games during 2023, Meadors ranked third for St. Louis with 38 total tackles, including a game-high 11 tackles in the Week 7 victory at Houston. The UCLA alumnus also picked off two passes, one of three Battlehawks with multiple interceptions on the season. The St. Louis Battlehawks will retain Meador's rights should he return to the XFL....
