May 8, 2025 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild are pleased to announce the selection of eight players in the 2025 Western Hockey League Prospects Draft, held Wednesday afternoon and continuing Thursday morning. Thursday's selections complete the WHL draft sequence, with the Canadian Hockey League Import Draft scheduled later this summer.

May 8, 2025 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild are pleased to announce the selection of two players in the 2025 Western Hockey League U.S. Priority Draft, held Thursday morning. The Wild held the 10 th and 38 th overall selections in the two-round draft, in which 2010-born players were selected from the western half of the United States only.

May 8, 2025 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild have announced a trade with the Victoria Royals of the Western Hockey League (WHL), acquiring 2007-born forward Mason Kraft from the Royals in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft and a third-round selection in the 2027 draft. Kraft signed his Western Hockey League Scholarship & Development Agreement shortly before this week's draft.

May 7, 2025 - WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild are pleased to announce the selection of center Kalen Miles Wednesday afternoon with the 10 th overall pick in the Western Hockey League Prospects Draft. Miles comes to the Wild from the Canadian Sport School Hockey League's Northern Alberta Xtreme Under-15 Prep team. The league hosted the first round of its annual bantam draft Wednesday, with the remainder of picks in the draft to be made Thursday.
