Nastrini Promoted, Will Make MLB Debut Tonight

April 15, 2024 - (UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - RHP Nick Nastrini had his contract selected by the Chicago White Sox today. Nastrini, 24, will make his Major League Debut tonight with the White Sox against the Kansas City Royals at 7:40 p.m. ET. With the Knights this season, Nastrini is 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA in two starts (7.0 IP). He struck-out eight Jumbo Shrimp batters in four innings on April 9 at Jacksonville. April 15, 2024 - MOOSIC, PA - Minor League Baseball has announced the weekly awards for April 8-14 and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre right-hander Clayton Beeter was honored as the Pitcher of the Week. Beeter allowed one hit and struck out eight batters over five shutout innings in the RailRiders 3-0 win at Norfolk on Saturday, April 13. Beeter made his Major League debut on March 29, throwing three pitches in one scoreless relief inning against the Houston Astros. Logan Porter Named International League Player of the Week

April 15, 2024 - PAPILLION, Neb. - Minor League Baseball announced the Pitcher and Player of the Week honors for each of the respective Player Development Leagues and Omaha Storm Chasers catcher Logan Porter was named the International League Player of the Week for his performance the week of April 8 through April 14.
