April 26, 2024 - CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, swept the Manitoba Moose in a best-of-three first round series thanks to a 41-save 2-0 shutout from Remi Poirier in Game Two on Thursday at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. Poirier stopped 14 shots in the opening period to keep the Moose off the board, while Fredrik Karlstrom gave Texas a 1-0 lead when he sent a wrist shot from the top of the left circle past Thomas Milic for a power play goal. Texas Advances to Face Milwaukee in the Central Division Semifinals

April 25, 2024 - CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, advanced to the Central Division Semifinals on Thursday, where they'll meet the Milwaukee Admirals in a best-of-five series starting next week. Mavrik Bourque Wins Les Cunningham Award as Most Valuable Player

April 25, 2024 - SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Texas Stars forward Mavrik Bourque has been named the winner of the Les Cunningham Award as the American Hockey League's Most Valuable Player. The league announced the news Thursday in a pregame ceremony at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park ahead of Game Two of the Central Division first round series between Texas and Manitoba. Logan Stankoven Named AHL's Most Outstanding Rookie

April 25, 2024 - SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Texas Stars forward Logan Stankoven has been named the winner of the Dudley (Red) Garrett Memorial Award as the AHL's Most Outstanding Rookie, the league announced Thursday. The award was voted on by players, coaches and media throughout the AHL. Stankoven, 21, compiled 57 points (24-33=57) in 47 games for Texas during his first professional season, including six power play goals, 20 power play points, three game-winning goals and a +9 rating.
