April 16, 2024 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and AHL's Hershey Bears, announced today that forwards Tyson Empey and Kevin O'Neil and defensemen Jon McDonald and Nick Leivermann have been recalled by Hershey (AHL).

April 15, 2024 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The ECHL announced on Monday that Stingrays forward Austin Magera has been named the 2023-24 recipient of the John A. Daley Memorial Trophy as the ECHL Rookie of the Year.
This award is presented annually to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition at the "A.A." level or higher, as determined by a vote of ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors, and media members.

April 13, 2024 - ESTERO, FL- The South Carolina Stingrays suffered a 4-3 shootout loss to the Florida Everblades on Saturday night. Jack Adams, Garet Hunt, and Kevin O'Neil scored for the Stingrays, while Mitchell Gibson stopped 20 of 23 shots in the loss.
The Stingrays opened the scoring with 41 seconds left in the first period when Adams redirected a Bryce Montgomery shot for his 27th goal of the season.
