Former Vibe Nico Zeglin Signs with Cubs

April 18, 2024 - Former Vibe Nico Zeglin has signed with the Cubs organization on a minor league contract. Zeglin joined Rocky Mountain during the 2023 season after finishing his collegiate career with Long Beach State. Zeglin made an instant impact with the Vibes. The right hander was a strikeout machine, tossing 39 Ks in just 29.2 innings. Zeglin held a 3.03 ERA for Rocky Mountain and pitched to a 3-0 record in six games started. Oakland Signs Three Players from Open Tryout

April 13, 2024 - The Oakland Ballers agreed to terms on contracts with three players who attended the open tryout last Saturday at Laney College. Infielder Andrew Martinez, right-handed pitcher Connor Caporale, and right-handed pitcher Kelsie Whitmore all signed contracts and will attend the team's Spring Training in May. Martinez, who is from San Francisco and went to St. Francis HS, was twice drafted out of UC Santa Barbara - first by Miami in the 33rd Round of the 2018 MLB Draft and then by Baltimore in the 24th Round in 2019. Righty Chase Gearing Signs with Owlz for 2024 Season

April 11, 2024 - WINDSOR, Colo. - The Northern Colorado Owlz have signed right-handed pitcher Chase Gearing for the 2024 season. Gearing went to the NCAA Tournament with Nicholls in 2023 after helping the Colonels win both the regular season and tournament titles in the Southland Conference.
