February 6, 2025 - Burlington, N.C. - The Sock Puppets announced today that Anthony Essien will return as their Manager for the 2025 season. Essien has been on the Burlington staff each of the first four seasons of the Sock Puppets, serving as Pitching Coach in 2021 and 2022 before assuming managerial duties since the end of the 2022 season.

February 4, 2025 - ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. - The River Riders announced that Jeremy Owens will return as manager for the 2025 campaign. Owens has more than 20 years of playing and coaching experience at the professional level, including serving the last three seasons as head coach with Elizabethton.

January 31, 2025 - GREENEVILLE, TN - The Greeneville Flyboys are pleased to announce the hiring of Nick Rodecap as broadcaster for the 2025 season. Rodecap will serve as the play-by-play broadcaster for the upcoming summer season and will broadcast all Flyboys games, both home and away.
Rodecap is currently a junior studying journalism at Indiana University Bloomington, where he is an Ernie Pyle Scholar. His time at IU Bloomington has allowed him to receive a multitude of experiences in the sports field, including writing, broadcasting, and... Full Story

Appalachian League: For the second season in a row, the summer-collegiate Appalachian League's Bristol State Liners, based in the Bristol (TN)/Bristol (VA) market, will not have their own home field and will share TVA Credit Union Ballpark, home of the league's Johnson City (TN) Doughboys, for the 2025 season. Boyd Sports, which owns the Doughboys and a few other Appalachian League teams, confirmed it has taken over operations of the State Liners and is working to build a ballpark for the team in Bristol (TN).
