Sock Puppets Keep Baseball Fun in Burlington

Saturday the Appalachian League's Burlington Sock Puppets played their final home game of the season against the Elizabethton River Riders, clinching the East Division title with a 3-2 victory. Burlington will meet Johnson City in Wednesday's championship game. The Sock Puppets play at the Burlington Athletic Stadium which opened in 1960.
