M-Braves Fall to Smokies 10-1 on Friday Night

KODAK, TN - The Mississippi Braves (40-45, 8-10) lost to the Tennessee Smokies (49-37, 13-5) on Friday night at Smokies Stadium. The Smokies have taken the first three games of the series. Luke Waddell got the scoring started with a solo homer in the first inning, his seventh of the season. In 13 games in July, Waddell is batting .345 with two home runs and 13 RBI.
