Woodpeckers Remain Undefeated in August with Win over Salem

Salem, VA - The hot start to the month of August continued Wednesday night for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. After recording eight runs on 14 hits in the series opener Tuesday, the Woodpeckers (12-19, 43-53) had another dozen hits at Salem Memorial Ballpark en route to an 8-6 victory over the Salem Red Sox (49-48, 14-17).
