Cougars Acquire Forward Chase Wheatcroft from Winnipeg

PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Cougars have acquired 2002-born forward Chase Wheatcroft from the Winnipeg ICE, in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft, the team announced Friday. Wheatcroft, a product of Calgary, AB, split the 2021-22 season between the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Winnipeg ICE. In 55 games, the 6'2," 176-pound forward had 16 goals and 22 assists.
