Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots (33-19) defeated the Akron RubberDucks (30-23) by a final score of 2-1 at TD Bank Ballpark on Wednesday night. Akron struck first when Julian Escobedo singled home Chris Roller in the top of the second.
