MANCHESTER, N.H. -The Manchester Monarchs dropped their first home game of the 2018-19 season, 4-1, to the Newfoundland Growlers on Friday night at SNHU arena. The Monarchs (1-1-0-1) scored late, but could not tie the game before the Growlers (3-2-0-0) tallied two empty-net goals to secure the win.
