Americans Fall in Season Opener to KC

Kansas City, Missouri - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, dropped a 5-1 decision to Kansas City on Friday night in their season opener. Casey Pierro-Zabotel had the only Americans goal, his first of the season from Alex Breton and Thomas Frazee in the opening period. Kansas City outscored the Americans 3-0 in the second period while outshooting Allen 21 to 8 in the second frame to grab a 4-1 lead. ... Full Story
