CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Florida State League announced on Monday that St. Lucie Mets infielder Luis Carpio was selected as the League's Player of the Week. For the week of July 9-15, Carpio's slash line was .481/.481/.667. In seven games he went 13 for 27 with two doubles, one home run, three RBI, three runs scored and one stolen base.
